The Four & Four Rental Contract
Reserving Your Date:
Dates are reserved on a first-come first-served basis. To secure a date,
a non-refundable deposit of 50% of your estimated total balance is required along with this signed
contract.
Payments, Cancellations, and Damages:
The remainder of your balance is due 14 days prior to
your event. Any delay in payment may result in the termination of agreement. We accept payment
in the form of check or credit card. Please note that credit cards do incur an additional 2% conven-
ience fee charge. We also require a credit card number on file to cover potential damages in the
amount of $500. This is due the week of your event. The deposit will be returned less any
charges for damages, excessive cleaning, or violation of outside liquor found on the property. As
the client, you assume full responsibility for all guests during the duration of your event. This
includes any guest(s) found to be in violation of this policy. Dates are transferable to another date
depending on availability. Any event cancellations, regardless of timeline to event, will result in
the forfeit of any deposit or funds previously paid.
Vendors:
We require that all vendors be pre-approved. All vendors are responsible for their
equipment and supplies. No items may be left at the venue overnight.
Food & Beverages:
Outside food and beverages, with the exception of desserts, are not allowed
on the property. All food must be catered by our in-house kitchen and all alcohol must be
purchased through the venue. A food and beverage minimum is required for all weekend (Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday) and holiday rentals. If the $4,000 guarantee is not met, the difference will
be added to the event’s total balance.
Rehearsals:
If there is no event taking place the day prior to your event, you are welcome to
schedule an hour time slot to conduct your rehearsals. If the space is unavailable, rehearsals
must be conducted “day of”.

Decorations:
Nails, staples, tape, tacks, and open flames are NOT ALLOWED. Please use zip ties,
command strips, floral or fishing wire, and battery operated candles. You are responsible for
providing your own ladder, supplies, and any other set up equipment needed. You are responsible
for tear down and clean up following the conclusion of your event. Nothing may be left overnight.
Glitter, confetti, crayons, and markers are also prohibited.
Timeline:
7 months prior to your event, we will meet to discuss “day of” timeline and initial set-up plans.
You may also choose 3 items from the menu to taste at this time to aid in your event menu
selection.
2 months prior to your event, we will meet to finalize timeline and ceremony/reception
layout and set-up. At this time, we will need your finalized vendor list as well.
2 weeks prior to your event, will be our final meeting. At this time, we will review all of the
details and make any changes necessary. Your final payment will also be due at this time. Any
changes made after this time will incur a minimum $500 fee, to be determined by The Four & Four.
If a rehearsal is required, it must be confirmed at this time.
